I met Lexie at a BWC retreat and was instantly intimidated and curious but I wouldn’t use abrasive, ever. I think that notion of “not living in fantasy because everything is so good” is a deep aura that surrounds. Power- but the good kind. The knowing kind. The “I write for me” kind. It’s like the - we say your name in reverential tones energy. The essay is objectively beautiful. The notion of not worrying about crafting a narrative to make it digestible is relatable but also, admirable. And I love a good robe but a t-shirt and underwear wins, every time.
